Roadrunner Records will be re-releasing Killswitch Engage's "The End Of Heartache" on March 1. The new edition will be a two-disc set, with the second disc featuring the music videos for the tracks "Rose Of Sharyn" and "The End Of Heartache" as well as three live songs taken from shows that went down in Seattle and San Francisco. Also included will be a version of "Fixation On The Darkness" featuring Howard Jones on vocals, the single-edit of "The End Of Heartache" and two previously unreleased tracks entitled "My Life For Yours" and "Irreversal" (the latter featuring guest vocals from ex-Killswitch Engage vocalist Jesse David Leach of Seemless and Phil Labonte of All That Remains).
God, why do bands do this? I got love and respect for them, but why do they have to make another version for us to buy...it's like DVD's!
I'm not sure why. My best guess is that they do it so that they don't have to sell an EP. People are less likely to buy an EP and more likely to buy a "special edition" of an album.
Well i'll get the re-release of their first album they released on Ferret in January, since I dont have that one yet!
