Linkin Park didn't deserve to be nominated for anything this year.

I think he's just announcing it to us for the hell of it. Otherwise he would have put it in the "Got News" thing.

The Short-Form Music Video category could've fit well with Breaking the Habit!

Best hard rock - I'd vote for either Slipknot or Incubus

Best metal - Slipknot or CoF since I think 'Nyphetamine' is just amazing and made me a CoF fan

Best rock song - Velvet revolver since 'American idiot' is just too overplayed

    Best rock album - Greenday

Nickelback got nominated? WTF? Blecch. I really don't like them at all: horrible lyrics, singer, sound.

I'm not complaining, but this is the Grammys 2004, right? So why would they nominate Sarah McLachlan's Afterglow when it was released in 2003?

Not complaining, since I love the fuck out of the album and her, but it just strikes me as odd.

It depends on when it was released. Hoobastank's album The Reason could've been nominated because it was released right at the end of 2003.
