A Twist of Fate The coble stone road extends its arms out into eternity I walk this road alone; I feel nothing but the sun beating down I have the world on my back, and only wishes and dreams pushing me A myriad of stars soar above me and I feel small again Walking to see fates plan, I am set apart from this world I have come to see my death; I have come to know my end At the conclusion of my journey I can see her standing there A mystery to most, the one so many seek and never find Her warmth fills the deep of space and chases away my fear Her eyes seem to hold worlds of thought and death within As I approached her, her figure becomes wiry yet radiant Clothed in a gown of golden dust and skin like porcelain She speaks with a tongue of fire and hosts a resounding voice She tells me of my life thus far, and how it will all come to be But not for some time, she has now given me a choice To truly love someone and live a life less ordinary To believe in something more than just myself Or suffer Fates twist and remain alone into perpetuity The timeless world melts away and turns into what I know With my one true love, and friends alike standing in front of me My voice goes unnoticed, my cries go unheard, and how is this so? A chance that was given, now taken away in and thrown to the sky A spirit I have become, lonely and for the rest time I will be There never was a choice, just an evil lie hidden behind her eyes
Too many cliches in the beginning, but pretty good. [/b][/quote] all thanks never noticed them, will re-do them, all though i never really liked this poem for some reason, i may just put it in my "Trash Archives"
