i hate the concept of fan fic, i looked trhough it
most of its about mike or chester being in love with some chick
its written by teenybopper girls who obviously picture themselves as that girl

it makes me sick :x

I hate fan fiction. Most of the time, LP is either dying or in love with some hopeless chick that can't get any otherwise. They're all really pointless, really stupid and... yeah.

It's worse when the band members are gay and love one another. That's just...?

 

Sometimes I read fanfics (only good ones like harry potter ones)... But certainly not the ones of LP!! They're terrible! How can you write about persons if you don't even know how they are? When I first discovered there was actually fanfiction of linkin park I had to laugh really hard and started reading it... It was ridiculous!

I don't get why girls write about that stuff.

Fan fiction is just when a fan of something (not always a band, could be game, movie, tv show, etc.) writes a story based on that thing. Like she wrote a story based on LP.

 

Fanfiction is also called slash. Like the others said, people write stories about something in pop culture and sort of make it their own. The stories are usually sexualized and involves the characters/band members.

I find this topic interesting because I'm taking a pop culture class and we talked about slash/fanfic recently. Out of curiosity I went looking for some and there are LiveJournal communities all over where members write/read/exchange slash.

 

All of the Linkin Park fanfictions I came across include Mike and Chester having sex. I stay far away from them.

I like the non-sexual fanfiction. I found an awesome Online Season Six FanFiction site for Angel, but they haven't updated in awhile.
