I bought Papa Roach's Getting Away With Murder about a month back.I liked the album a lot.I think Papa Roach is the best Nu-Metal band right now considering LP's music has gone downhill after HT.what r ur comments on GaWM

I think the album is great, especially "Take Me", "Scars" and "Sometimes" (the guitar solo is so cool). I can in some ways relate the lyrics to myself, and it was pretty cool when I was very sad and angry I listened to "sometimes" and it explained the way I felt. For me this is one of the best records released in 2004 so far, although I am not that huge papa roach-fan

I really like GaWM. I listen to Scars, Not listening, Blood and Do or Die a lot. It's a great album. They went to Holland a few weeks ago but couldn't go :( I would have loved it to see them live

    Pfft.

GAWM is pretty good. Not as good as 'Infest', but better than 'Lovehatetragedy'. My favorite song is "Stop Looking".

What genre would you consider it?

Alternative rock, post- grunge, anything but that.

Infest WAS nu metal, but GAWM is in no way that. Actually, it doesn't matter what genre it belongs to, but you only have to listen to it and compare it to KoRn, Deftones, Slipknot... nothing like that ;)

    LOL.

I don't like Getting Away With Murder as much as lovehatetragedy. I think Infest is their worst album aside from "Last Resort" and "Between Angels & Insects." Maybe it's because I like the fact that they tried to stop being rap-metal or whatever the hell you want to call that. I think lovehatetragedy is an amazing, amazing album, but Getting Away With Murder doesn't quite match up to it.

I only like two songs on GAWM and they are 'GAWM' and some other random song that i likes one line of. I prefer Infest and LHT far more.

I can't decide what to think about Papa Roach. I like songs off of Infest, but haven't heard anything except for singles off Love.Hate.Trajedy. I've been listening to GaWM and I like some songs off of it so far. 'Blood' and 'Sometimes' in particular. I dunno, Papa Roach is good, but I think they just don't stand out very much compared to some of my favorite bands.

I borrowed the CD from a friend, and I have to say that I was extremely dissapointed with their latest effort. The only good songs on it were Blood, Not Listening, and the title track. That's it. Everything else was nothing but a crapfest.

Same here, they have the great songs here and there, but then some songs turn extremely poppish and it seems as if they have no clue which audience they should appeal more to.
