Stone Temple Piolts

Anyone like them? Before you answer let me ask a question. Did anyone like them before Chester said STP was his favorite band?

It's just that ever since Chester said STP was his favoite band I saw noticed on those My fav. Band threads in the LPMB the said Stone temple Piolts. I make a thread in early 2001 about stone temple piolts and 99% of the people say that they never heard of them.

I've never really been into STP until i got into Velvet Revolver. But I had no clue that Chester had even said STP was his favorite band, but not like it would make a difference to me.

 

I have a mp3 of Chester singing "Wonderful" live with the STP

 

My friend and I call Scott Weiland, Mick Stewart. He moves like Mick Jagger on stage and sings like Rod Stewart... well he sings like that on "Fall to Pieces".
I've never really gotten into STP, but I haven't really tried either

I started to listen to them once I heard VR but I never really got into them.

I like Stone Temple Pilots. They're not my favorite Grunge band, though, but they're pretty good. I like mostly their older stuff (songs like Plush, Interstate Love Song, Creep, Wicked Garden, etc). Based on what I've heard from Velvet Revolver, I like STP better.

 

Yeah STP's cool. And no, I didn't like them before I heard that they're Chester's favband. When I heard that, I was like: "Oh, well if Chester likes them, they could be good. I'll try one of their songs" and I liked the song. So it's not like, that I like them because Chester does, I just heard of them because of Chester. And I'm still not a fan of STP or anything, but they're pretty good.

Oh yeah, and I have the 'Wonderful feat. Chester' too, it's an amazing song! Their voices fit together so nicely.

 

Velvet Revolver disgusts me. Scott's voice just sucks now. His voice was so deep and powerful in STP, good band
