"Á Travers de cet Amour"

As the sunlight makes its way throughout the house,
its warmth is felt upon everything in its path.
Its gentle touch is soothing, to say the least,
and comforts all those who manage to take advantage of it.
The sunlight is soft and pale in the early morning,
but grows all the more vibrant as the day progresses,
before it amasses itself just above the horizon
and glows a steady red, just before it says its final farewells
and bids the world goodbye.
The night time rushes in without a hitch,
making itself noticed rather quickly.
The moon glances down upon the world with a smile,
itching to sooth the world as it falls into its deep slumber.
The stars peek out from behind their walls
and begin to twinkle high up in the sky, safe in their perches.
Sometimes, planets make their way into the sky,
protecting the stars and their perches from falling.
However, the planets aren't always there to catch the stars,
and they flash down from the sky.
It is, indeed, a spectacular sight to see,
when the stars fall from their perches and burn.
When the morning arrives again, the stars must retreat
and make way for the sun as it, once again,
makes itself the most noticeable object in the sky.
Daytime returns to the world again.
Sometimes, the moon remains present in the sky,
making sure that the sun does not do anything it shouldn't.
However, the sun must always keep its own promises,
and fill those who have tainted the world with a burning.
Their skin begins to crack and peel and turn red,
all with the promise of shedding their current skin
to be able to start anew with a brand-new skin.
Through this love of the world, the sky bleeds for everyone.
When the sky feels that the world has been tainted,
it sends in its warriors—the clouds.
The clouds have a very important duty to uphold.
They must cleanse the world of its taintedness.
The clouds look down upon the much-tainted world
and begin to sob a heavenly sob that remains unmatched.
As they open up, their tears crash into the ground
and torment the very soil that one must walk upon
in his or her daily life.
This is a good thing, however, as this tormented soil
is being cleansed of all the taintedness brought upon it
by the tragedy of the human condition.









"Á Travers de cet Amour" is French for "Through This Love."
