i'll start off by saying its over-rated and doesn't deserve the hype it creates.

Halo wasn't hyped, it was just overrated. It was nowhere near the public claimed it to be. Don't get me wrong, it's my 3rd favorite game of all time, but come on, it's not THAT great.

What about me. And the people at valve hate it because it came out on it's release date. The first release date.

Exactly. Halo is very stereotypical. It's like a good mod for the FPS genre. Not much more though.

Try telling that to the company who made Driver. Rockstar totally ripped them off, and just added guns, and changed the name to Grand Theft Auto.

Almost all the story telling elements of GTA were taken from other things. So it's not completely original.

 

The first two GTA games were different.

Now it's just a third person shooter with a decent plot.
