New Russian law restricts citizen speech

Though Russia is by no means the U.S., what do you think of this kind of censorship?

Wow... Like Link said, Russia is not like the U.S., but that seems just a little out of hand. You can't curse in public? :wth:

wow i guess they havn't heard of free speech. lol im glad im not repressed that much. those poor kids. hehehe. what do they do if they hear a 7yr old curse infront of thier parents or grandparents? would they carge the parent? what if they heard a pet bird say bad words (does deffinatly happen)? do they charge the owner?
lol sry those r dumb questions. but it is crazy to think they can really do that

yeah, our Social class had a debate about the whole Russian Law about not being able to curse.. and in the end our Social teacher ended up making fun of Russian's, it was pretty funny.

 

We can't swear in that part of Russia anymore?! Govno!

 

i dont' think it is that big of a deal unless they are trying to eavesdrop on your conversation, or if they are targeting everyone, but it seems that is not the case.
