2004 MTV Video Music Brazil Awards

    Linkin Park have been nominated for an award at MTV Brazil's annual award show, the 'Video Music Brazil' awards. The band and their "Numb" video are up for a VMB award under the category of "Best International Video" against Avril Lavigne ("Don't Tell Me"), Blink 182 ("I'm Feeling This"), Christina Aguilera ("The Voice Within"), Outkast ("Hey Ya") and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers ("Fortune Faded"). The awards take place this Tuesday, October 5th in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Good luck, Linkin Park!

    As i surfed into the LPA i was listening to Fortune Faded by the Chilis. Big coincidence as i read this.

    Anyway Numb has a better video so i it wins.

    they are some of the biggest bands in the world. I'd say it will be a tough battle indeed. B)

    In any case, Hey Ya better not win. Its the most annoying song I've ever heard, especially because that guy sqwaks :mellow:

    When I heard that song it got so stuck in my head.... I think that's LP's best adversary. But I'm sure LP will win :)

    Hey I don't think so dat it is a tough competition 4 lp coz da vdo of Numb is da brainstorm of Joe.So,4 sure lp will win dis award ^_^ & every award in da future 2.

    Here's my wild guess. He's saying LP doesn't have much competition because Joe played a big part in making the music video Numb (don't know if thats true or not) and therefore LP is almost sure to win this award and any award they got nominated for in the future :unsure:

    Hey, I don't think that this is a tough competition for Linkin Park because the video "Numb" is the brainstorm of Joe. So Linkin Park will win this award for sure. ^_^ and every award in the future.

    hey guys, i'm new in the Forum...I'm from Brazil, so i´m sorry if i write something wrong...
    In fact, LP had won the MTV Video Music Brazil in the last 2 years

    - 2002 - In The End
    - 2003 - Somewhere I Belong

    and i hope that LP wins this year



    I WOULD LIKE TO SAY ONE MORE THING...IT IS ABOUT THE LP BRAZILIAN'S SHOW ... I WENT, AND IT WAS REALLY AMAZING... IT WAS THE LINKIN PARK´S BIGGEST SHOW ... **75.000 PEOPLE**[
