Sounds like you'd like Nader  And I'm not just saying that because I like him, and I'm not shamelessly plugging him, but what you described seems to me like you'd support him.

Want info on him? Check the site in my sig.

    What am I?

    I'm not a lumberjack,
    or a fur trader...
and I don't live in an igloo
or eat blubber, or own a dogsled...
and I don't know Jimmy, Sally or Suzy from Canada,
although I'm certain they're really, really nice.

    I have a Prime Minister,
    not a President.
    I speak English and French,
    NOT American.
    and I pronouce it ABOUT,
    NOT A BOOT.

I can proudly sew my country's flag on my backpack.
I believe in peace keeping, NOT policing.
    DIVERSITY, NOT assimilation,
AND THAT THE BEAVER IS A TRULY PROUD AND NOBLE ANIMAL.
    A TOQUE IS A HAT,
    A CHESTERFIELD IS A COUCH,
AND IT IS PRONOUCED 'ZED' NOT 'ZEE', 'ZED'!

CANADA IS THE SECOND LARGEST LANDMASS!
    THE FIRST NATION OF HOCKEY!
AND THE BEST PART OF NORTH AMERICA!

    MY NAME IS JOE!
    AND I AM CANADIAN!

    Bit of nationalism?

I like Canada, I'm thinking of moving either there or the U.K. after college, or maybe even studying abroad in the U.K.

smashpilot- you know theres like a whole thing of nationalities of that comparing to america? i think its funny.
    http://www.shartwell.freeserve.co.uk/humor...ionalities.html

anyways, i do believe that theres really not point in voting outside the 2 parties as of now. i dont think its right, since nader is obviously the better of the three, but the votes that go to nader take away from kerry. on the polls i saw today, it was..
    bush: 49%
    kerry: 46%
    nader: 4%

so if the people who are voting nader vote for kerry, he would have the lead, and i do believe in the "lesser of two evils". i would much rather have a hobo running america than bush. its upsetting though, because i know bush is going to be re-elected.

    but then it said..

Did the debate change the candidate you support?
    No: 79%
Yes, I now support Kerry: 15%
Yes, I now support Bush: 7%

so i guess that gives me some hope that at least 15% of americans are smarter than i thought.

You have absolutly nothing to worry about. Those polls aren't accurate enough to go by. I can't believe there is any dought in anyone's mind. Trust me, John Kerry will be the next President of the United States.

^ he's right with the inaccuracy of the polls. They can have up to an 11% margin of error, I heard, and it's only a sample of the population.
