Cigarettes - Hardly ever. Like I've smoked maybe 10 in my life. Last thing I smoked was something we dubbed a 'death smoke'. It was like 100% pure tobacco. And I took a big wee haul off it and like, choked to death. Weed - Whenever really, not often though. I don't care what anyone says, weed isn't a gateway drug. IMO it's safer than getting drunk. You become more impared when you're dunk by like, 80% (Then again, the best way to be impared is to lose sleep, after 32 hours, you're as impared as a person who is legally drunk)
I have a friend (it's not me, I don't do drugs ) who got off of crystal meth by smoking weed. It's probably the safest drug ever.
If weed had no connection whatsoever to harder drugs, then I would agree with you. Most kids that smoke weed end up running into someone who does the harder stuff. If they didn't smoke weed in the first place, then they wouldn't be as likely to run into those types of people. What happens when your so used to weed, that you want to move on to something else? Do you turn to drugs like acid and pcp to get a buzz like you use to be able to get? What happens when your so use to being stoned that you honestly feel that your addicted and don't want to go through the day without it? It starts to slow you down and keep your mind from focusing. What do you do? You have to do something. Quit? What if that's not an option? Speed? It doesn't seem too harmful when you start popping pills, but then you get addicted. Those pills aren't speeding you up anymore. Now you want the real ####. So you turn to Meth or Cocaine. You can't say that doesn't happen all the time. Therefor, I think it is a gateway drug. My friend quit smoking cigarettes by smoking weed more. Unfortunately, he quit pot and started back up on smoking. I guess, everyone's different. Smoke: Yeah, I do. Ashamed of it, but I can't deny it. We'll, actually I can, it's a message board but you catch my drift.
Chances are, if they were hanging out with heavy potsmokers and druggies, they were going to be pressured/offered the harder stuff in time. But if the kid sat at home and casually did it, he would have never thought "I wanna be like this, but worse!".
Good point. Yeah, but he's casually doing it. He has a lot of willpower to keep it down. But I was referring to kids who do it more than casual. It can go either way. It's just people's views can change after time grows on them.
Smoking is the most commercialized form of death to exist. Think about it - - you're paying an obscene amount (because of the government stepping in and adding taxes to encourage people to quit) to harm your body, and eventually kill yourself. Think about that. Not only do you die decades earlier than you otherwise would, but you've payed hundreds of thousands of dollars to do so. Not only do you not see that money again, but neither does your family. And second-hand smoke harms others who've chose not to smoke as well...so you're poisoning the people who are making the good choice. The government will never step in and ban smoking completely...they'd lose too much revenue doing that. Instead, they'll just jack up the taxes, and let your addiction roll right into their pockets...
The answers are cool Yes No When im with friends (which is a yes) For me its a big no, and i would never do it
