i love this show so much, its like the only thing i really watch on tv. i recently bought his first season dvd and im waiting for season 2! ali g is hilarious, borat is my favorite though rofl. the bruno character has some pretty funny parts. i think this show is a 'love or hate' kind of show. its very easy to get annoyed, but i obviously love it. so what about everyone here? the people that have seen it love it or hate it? comments please! Respek. Oh yea for those who have never seen this show its aired on HBO.
It's an ok show. Sometimes the humor seems too forced, but Borat's pretty awesome. They show it on ShowCase here.
Yah i recently started watching this show too. It's pretty decent. Honestly i could just watch the whole show if he just did the news reporter character.
Sasha Baron Cohen is brilliant. The best english comedian after Rick Mayall. Some people I know think Ali G is an actual real person.
I can never seen to find it on when I'm awake now, but when it used to be on at 10 (maybe it still is) I was f*cking hooked. His little language seems to piss off the people he's interviewing so much, and when he asks dumb questions on purpose I just want to crack up. Borat is the best because people often believe he is real. The best part is when he was getting tips on how to be a gentleman, and he's at a table when all of a sudden he goes, "What is that smell? It smell like the sh*t." I just died, right there and there. Does anyone know when its on? I haven't watched it in ages .
well it used to be on hbo alot, but its been taken off. and then it was on hbo on demand and then THAT got taken off. so basically derek i say get the first season dvd if you dont already have it. but you probably have a different cable provider than i do so their might be a way for you to watch it, but i know for my cable provider they have taken away the only thing i watched on tv!
