Lead Singer Marky Chavez has officaly left Adema. The band are currently taking rehearsals from 5 other singers to front the band. The singers are not famous or part of any other band. They plan on documenting the process of gaining a new singer and recording the new album Four Closure for a reality documentary type show possibly for future DVD releases or Internet options. Source:ademaweb.com ----- This is annoying, i was really looking forward to the new stuff and it's a shame Mark has left the band. No reasons why he left either. It should be interesting to hear what they come up with now though. I'm upset about this, Adema won't be the same.
Yeah, I read this awhile ago. It F*cking sucks, I don't know if i'll like Adema as much without Mark's voice. Hopefully they find a good vocalist and Marky finds another band.
I was so unhappy when I heard this. But maybe it's a good thing. Mark's lyrics on "Unstable" were not very good. Maybe we can look for something better here.
I swear to god if any LP members quit I'm gonna kill someone. This is sad, a GREAT band had to lose a member because of god knows why. What is the music industry coming to? Too many great bands are breaking up.
Hmm i can't imagine Adema without Marky Chavez, I mean he just had such a distinct voice. I think if they are gonna get a new lead singer they should just change the name all together.
Hm... Never been a huge Adema fan, but let's hope they'll get a brutal vocalist or something now they're signed to Earache...
Yeah, i don't like it when bands get new singers and keep the same name and all previous material. I think if a band changes singers, then change your name.
I've never really been a fan of Adema, but I think they are pretty good and I hope they don't split up. However, I agree with Mark. From what I've heard Unstable was very generic lyrically, so at least maybe the band will improve in that area.
That sucks, but in my opinion, Adema has been going downhill rather rapidly. Maybe a new singer can change that. One can hope.
Um can I just say that if Linkin Park are even in talks of splitting or one of the members leaving then everyone better stay atleast 50 fett away from me cos I will harm anyone who comes near me,maybe even myself But its sad about Adema,I love the song Immortal. I think Slash and Axle Rose need to sort out their differences and re-form Guns 'N' Roses,I can't stand Velvet Revolver,The names of the bands are too similar aswell: Guns-Revolver,Roses-Velvet.Its a rip off (no offence to anyones musical tastes)
yeah i really liked mark, i wonder what happened to him...maybe he'll come back. hey, it is possible, lets look at wes borland (did i spell that right?)
What is with you and thinking every band has to turn into death metal?
I've always been too scared to ask PD that same question.
This seems to be a new trend... leaving your band. "Next on 'Leaving the Band' we'll watch frustrated band members leave the bands they founded/supported"
It's funny because it's true. Bands are lucky to stay with the original line-up for more than like...3 years nowadays.
I've always been too scared to ask PD that same question.
I don't know Actually, i love it when nu metal bands and so are mixed with brutal vocals. the fact that a band has a heavy vocalist doesn't mean they have to go death metal.
ehh, this kinda bites..but adema was getting kinda sucky. their first album was pretty good, but i wasnt very impressed with thier second. For some reason, half the songs just didnt quite click with me. I dont know, its probably just me. Ive seen them twice live, they arent bad.
