Do you think, LP is metal?

Hey, it's Chase!
I got a question and I wanted to know,
whether you think LP is metal?
They are not like slipknot of course (SLIPKNOT ROCKS!),
but they are heavy on their own way!
And so, I think, they make Metal!!!
Whats you opinion on my topic and don't say,
"Chase is a silly ###### and only start
shitty topics..."... B)

its metal in a diff way, like LB makes songs with #### britney.. #### christina, #### eminem etc. LP sings about situations with love. that's why i think that they are succesfuller than Korn Or Limp Bizkit

and dont forget my opinion. i hate 'em but ill admit i used to listen to there music because they were "all the rage". id rather listen to punk/juck than limp bizkit(my opinion)

 

I wouldn't really consider their music metal. But like they said earlier its a nu-metal. But like other nu-metal bands I think they are quite different from them. It is the stuff they sing aobut and the lyrics that set them apart from all the others.

 

Nü-metal isn't rap/rock. Nü-metal is German for new metal, .

I think LP is metal. Alternative metal is what they're classified under, anyway. So, yeah, I think they're metal.

Rap/rock is considered "rap-metal" or "raprock" (one word).

Nah..LP aint metal...metal is like Metallica..and they are totally diffrent...nu-metal sounds alright..but basically nu-metal is like Slipknot and Papa Roach..I'd say LP is more of a pop/rock/alternative band

To the person who said that lp is a pop/rock/alternative band. Yeah, we admit that hybrid theory defined an alterantive sense to the music industry, but have you heard any clips from meteora? (Buddy, how about don't stay , faint, or lying form you?) try that on for size

When my so called friends talk about LP they say that they're more of a pop-band than a metal-band. That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard except for Avril Lavigne being "Johnny Rotten for the 21th century"

k..were do you hear all there songs basically..pop stations...i don't want them to be pop...but they are somewhat..and i have heard all those songs.. i have them cd quality

You really annoy the crap out of me. Linkin Park is not pop. Just because their songs are on TRL or "pop" stations does not make them pop.

 

Linkin Park is far from metal, and yes they are a pop band (Pop just simply means that they are popular) If you would like metal try, Pantera, Slayer, metallica, opeth, Black label society, cannibal corpse.

 

No, pop is a genre of music referring to crap like Britney, Christina, LFO, NSYNC, and Backstreet Boys and crap..

LP is rock, not pop.
