As reported earlier, Linkin Park's own Mike Shinoda reinterpreted a Depeche Mode song for their upcoming greatest hits album 'Remixes 81-04'. The song, called "Enjoy the Silence (Reinterpreted)", is now up for preview here. We tried our hardest to get it up to our members as quickly as possible.

Thanks to superxero88 for supplying the player under such short notice!

The song sounds great, but I should most likely find out how the orig. "Enjoy The Silence" sounded like, so I may make the right choice in deciding which sounds better..

For anyone interested, there are clips of the original & older remixes available on DM.com
Very interesting new mix, seems to be the same synth as in Numb! Faithful to the original, but still gives it a new twist...
    Rubbish quality though!

I do not know the original song, but the remix sounds great. I like the guitars in the background. Can't wait to hear the full song. I decided to buy the single!

It's better than the original. But I think that's mostly because he didn't mess with it that much. He used the same piano synth from Numb lol. Shows how much time he had to work on it. It's good though. Not what I expected. I thought it would be the "Whoa wtf" feeling I got from Reanimation. That was a good feeling by the way. It's better than the original, but not by miles. It still sounds basically the same.

Well, I have to say, this is what I love Mike for, that instrumental captured me nicely and it's damn good.. I hope he keeps the work like that with that "notch"

I thought it was'nt that bad of a remix, stayed true to the original but had kind of a linkin parkish sound. Pretty good.

I also agree that the remix is still pretty much the same.

First time I heard it, I was like, wow this is Numb remixed or something. The instrument is very obvious, and probably what gives it that Linkin Park feel.

LOL, I swear to God I thought it was a Numb remix...
But really, that remix sounds pretty cool, that sound is wicked...

I never heard of Depeche Mode (must be a really old band), how does it sound like, and why some people say it influenced LP?
