Brad Confirms New Music

    On tonight's Rockline interview with Linkin Park bandmates Mike Shinoda and Brad Delson and Korn frontman Jon Davis, Brad confirmed that new music is on the way "sooner than later". The band members were pretty tight-lipped about divulging any information but Brad commented that it will be a "pleasant surprise for LP fans.", and that fans should "keep checking LinkinPark.com". LP vocalist Chester said a few months ago that the band hopes to have new songs released to their fans by the end of the year. Please note there is no confirmation on the timeline of when the songs will be released, but here's an update that the band plans to release new music in the near future.

    All I can say, is if it is for the LPU, I'm definitely joining this year.

    I just hope they have a Frat Party-ish DVD if the LPU thing wont be all that special. It's gonna be a long year and I need something to tie me over.

    I'm tired of you guys using telepathy over the internet to steal my replies out of my head before I get online to post them :(

    It's kinda a good thing when I'm waiting for new LP material to be released. It gives me a chance to check out other bands and bathe for a change. ;) But its good that its coming sooner than expected.

    They just mentioned 'State of The Art'. And the rest of the band have little idea about it. :lol:

    It's so old they forgot about it, and it shows one or 2 things:

    1. Mike hasn't been at the boards lately
    2. All the SOTA threads have mysteriously disappeared

    i dont think that there will be new stuff at the end of the year. i mean, its bullshit to release just tracks, its better to come out with a full album. and they should work harder on the new record, cause if its like hybrid theory or meteora again, they'll lose some of their greatest fans
