LPA Awards: Version 4

Faster than a Britney Spears marraige, as hard-hitting as Richard Simmons in an airport terminal, funnier than a bear growling in a room full of helium; the fourth semi-annual LPA Awards are upon us! I, along with Will, shall be your hosts for the coming days. These awards will be so amazing that they will rival the Olympics, Dick Clark's New Years Eve bash, and the fourteenth coming of Jesus. They will be so earth-shattering and Larry King will be forced to retire his suspenders and workshirt in pursuit of vintage baseball uniforms and twelfth century viking hats. Fox will stop airing crappy reality shows and "funniest tennis mishaps" clip shows. Here we go!

But before you start throwing confetti and dangling children off high-story balconies because the awards are finally back, there are rules. Don't worry, they won't hurt.

01:: No voting unless you have been here longer than one month.
-- To be able to vote fairly in each category, you must have experience of over one month here on the forums. You must know who you are voting for before you just slap random names down.

02:: You may only vote once.
-- Self-explanitory.

03:: No voting for yourself.
-- Self-explanitory, again.

04: Voting
-- PM your choices (and you may choose anyone) to me or Will and we will tabulate them.

-- Ever seen a nickname that just plain sucked that you cringed everytime you saw it? Try here.
Best Graphics Artist
-- Who has the best skills with signatures and avatars and other pictures?
Best Writer
-- Who writes the best poems in Writers Cove?
Best Debater
-- Serious chat has often become very busy with sometimes heated and othertimes calm debates. Who puts his point across the best without sounding arrogant?
Personal Favorite
-- It may be someone you talk to on or off the forums, but who do you click with the most? This is your best friend on the LPA.
Most Random Member
-- Have you ever thought; "where the hell did that comment come from?" Who throws in the most random comments of them all?
Most Intelligent Member
-- Who seems to be the smartest member on the forums?
Best Personality
-- Whose personality do you like the most?
Best Thread
-- You could vote for your favorite thread, most original thread, it doesn't matter. Just give props to your fave thread.

In Version 2 I took home a lot of the awards by surprise and had a lot of thank you's to write. Then the next year I won nothing. Hopefully this year will be my grand comeback, at least I certainally hope so.

Plus guys? Lets not shut this down after only one week. We never give these threads enough time nor enough exposure, so I believe we (the staff) should start promoting the awards in our signatures. We want this to get a lot of votes as well as a lot of time for votes submitted.
