eeewww....now that was disturbing, being human, how can u possibly end up like that? we have to get rid of waste, and i thought that it would've been an unconscience action where we go to the toilet, and want to pass waste out... i'm gonna be sick, i just saw this after lunch!
She got stuck because she was probably couch-ridden for over a year and unable to throughly cleanse herself. Sweat/Dirt/Sh*t on her asscrack probably molded on her and hardened on the couch she was laying on, thus sticking her to the couch. Its like putting gum against a hard surface, making it get rock hard and trying to take it off.
...skin grows and attaches to anything if it's left against your skin for long enough. why do you think band-aids that you leave on for over a week are so hard to get off?
this is sad. really really sad. it is sad that people actuallly live like that and no one bothers to help them.
You know, I don't feel bad for the woman. It's her own fault that she was too lazy to get off her fat ass and do something about it. And also... didn't the family like.. know she was this huge? I mean, come on, you can only tell someone they look great...until they scare the kids. "Give aunty a kiss!" "AAAAUGH!" :chemist: But on a serious note... That's just...wrong... I'm going to invent a couch that once you lay on it for about an hour, it kicks you off. Like, the cushion comes up and rolls you off. That way, you are off your ass and you can get up and do stuff. That is a reason why Nickelodeon is going dark for like... 3 hours on some day because they want the kids to go out and be active. And you know, if you really want to watch a TV show but have other plans... THERE IS A THING CALLED A VCR. Bah. This disgusts me.
Old people can't program VCRs.
If I recall correctly, she was 40. 40 year olds know how to program VCRs... Or at least they should be able to...
Some of you are sickening. You treat her like she's not human, making throw-up faces, calling her gross, making snide remarks. I know this line has been overused, but what if it was you? These remarks might not seem bad right now, but would you like it if someone was like "Ok, ok, don't mean to laugh BUT that remark was funny!" or was talking about your asscrack and how it must have stuck to the couch or how much you would have stunk or how gross it all is? I would be mortified if I found something like this about me on the forums, especially if I was in her condition. Its just everything she must have feared. Jerks that would pretend to care in her face, but laugh or act indifferent if they saw her on the news. And the ignorance present in here is even more sickening. What? Do you think because it was in the news about someone you dont know, and not your next door neighbor or family member, that you can make light of the situation? Would you say "oh, isn't it so gross" if she was someone you loved, like your mom, sis, dad or anyone else? And being that obese isn't her fault. Its a condition. Anybody with a mind can see that you don't get that obese by eating and sitting around. You die of a heart attack or something like that first. Stop being ignorant and think about it. And be more sympathetic. Your seemingly innocent remakrs are anything but. This woman DIED. Does the seriousness of it hit any of your brains yet? I sure as hell hope you're human enough to feel AT THE LEAST apologetic.
I agree with goso88, obesity is a condition. I know a girl who's like 13 and she's obese, she has a lot of problems when she goes out with her fam, they even had to buy a bigger car to go out with her. It really sucks for people like that. Their self steem is probably the lowest for all the comments and stares they get from ppl when they go out. They probably stay home to not be judged or stared at.
there is a disease where people eat and eat and they can't stop, and most of them die before they are 12. and it is not their fault. how do you think their parents can explain that to them?
If I recall correctly, she was 40. 40 year olds know how to program VCRs... Or at least they should be able to...
My mom is fourty-something and doesn't even know how to turn on a TV. I'm serious.
you guys are really mean. good thing it's not you that is the one that can't do anything... because maybe people would be ridiculing you on the internet behind your back.
