limpbizkit are expected to enter Olympic Studios in London, England, shortly to begin recording their follow-up to the dismal "Results May Vary" complete with former guitarist Wes Borland back in the band. A February 2005 release date is being planned.
WES ####### BORLAND IS BACK IN PLAAAY! Finally, this better be a heavier than RMV, or else i'll shoot myself in the knee
Does that mean that Mike Smith is no longer in the band? I personelly did'nt have a problem with Results May Vary, but it will be interesting to see what the new material will sound like, i'm guessing harder.
This rumour has been floating around for a while, its not true untill its confirmed by the band, fred hates wes's guts after leaving, so why would he let him back...
This was posted by The PRP who have contacts with A&R reps inside labels. They wouldn't give him bogus news, and he would've said it was a rumor if it was, indeed, still a rumor.

The PRP have been going on about this for months though, when it comes from Fred, i'll belive it [/b][/quote] Yeah, and all the previous times they've explicity stated that it was a rumor. They didn't, however, state that it was a rumor this time, and they wouldn't just say Wes is back for the hell of it.
Well for me im gonna keep it as a rumour untill something official is released, fred recently posted on the official site saying dont believe everything you hear....
But whatever, treat this news however you like. But just think o the possibilities that Wes would bring back to this band, damn that would be sweet.
And Wes apparently claimed that limpbizkit was holding him back from doing better stuff. He said he didn't even like rap anymore, but then Fred said somewhere that he'll only be singing on the next album. Oh well.
It would be really cool if Wes was back in the band. LB's stuff was better on The chocolate strafish and hot dog flavoured water. I didn't really like RMV that much. Too soft for my liking
You guys need to quit blaming Wes for the disapointment of Limp Bizkit's new album. The reason why it was soft is because they are about making money and they thought trying to be emotional like every other band on the radio will help them sell more records. I am aware they did this in the beginning, but they changed to make money. I could understand that because before then, they really weren't all that famous. Now they've changed again and probably will change once more since they've released this thing's been played out to the fullest and there's only a few band's left that can still do it. Maybe they should rely on being creative to sell records instead of doing what everyone else is? Having a new guitarist has nothing to do with it. He can make music that fits the new and old stuff. Maybe being creative is too much to ask for from Limp Bizkit?
CSATHDFW was more commercial than Significant Other, yet heavy. I think that Mike brought the soft guitars, Wes could have never played that way. I agree with Will, Mike would be better as a rythm guitarist. Or, even better, as someone who has nothing to do with the next LB album
You honestly think Mike can't write heavy guitars? It really doesn't show on most of the songs, but look at what he can do. The reason why he wrote softer riffs were probably due to the fact that Fred told him to. Eric Clapton doesn't make heavy songs, doesn't mean that he can't. Mike is the better guitarist in my opinion. Then again, I would want Wes back if I was a Limp Bizkit fan, because he seems to be the only one in that group willing to step up and tell Fred what's on his mind. I'm sure if he came back, he would be like "#### doing this. Let's try something new" and that's what the band needs. Kicking Mike out of the band would just be proving to the world that Fred Durst is a piece of ####. I'm not saying he is, that would be my opinion, but you don't make such a hype about getting a new guitarist and then drop him because the old guitarist wanted to take some time off. If he did that, I would lose what little respect I have for him now.
