Rate Linkin Park on a "hardness" scale

When you think about ALL of music... stuff like Death Metal and Thrash Metal and other genres like that.... Linkin Park is like a 5 or 4. They're loud... but not that hard.

 

3. I listened heavier stuff on "laneth"...

out of ten, a seven and half...

and i love seven and half...
anything lower is pop for me....and anything more would would be alright, and beyond 9 will kill me...

I would give 'em a 5.

But believe me, Slipknot isn't the band Linkin Park should be measured up to.

 

LP arent that heavy instrumentally its just chesters vocals so Im gonna give them 6/10

 

i would say that on the "Hardness" scale LP is like around 7.5 out of 10.

I would say 6. They're not too hard, and not too soft.

 

I would give them about a 7... they're hard enough for me. Just the right amount to make them on the top of my faves band list.

id give them a 7 i guess... only because i really like them. they deserve a 6.

 

3. but I dont like heavy music that much which is why I like LP and not bands like Slipknot.

 

i don't know.there are many heavier bands out there and thanks to lp,i know listen to their music...
right now,i'd give them a 4,5 (because of chester's vocals).
i hope they get heavier,though.

 

Because of Linkin Park I started listening to heavier bands. But I think they can be a little harder so I'll give them a 6... Although I have to agree that Meteora is a little softer. But I don't mean that in a negative way.

 

WTF?!

I rate them at 4-6. It isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I would like LP to get heavier in their next album.
