JAKARTA, Indonesia - U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell (news - web sites) donned a hard hat and tucked a hammer in his belt Friday, performing a version of the Village People's hit "YMCA" at the conclusion of Asia's largest security meeting.
.................................... ............................................................. Wow.
And the big deal is? If it's tradition, who cares? You people will find anything to make fun of these people for. Get a life.
How does the comment I made say "I like the Bush administration"? Making fun of the Bush administration, like superxero said, is getting old and it's not funny anymore. People are trying to find anything they can to make fun of the administration and it's getting old and annoying.

While I don't agree with the tradition, to say Colin Powell is an idiot is stretching things extremely far. Colin Powell is probably one of the best politicians in America, in my honest opinion. I'd say he's up there with McCain on my list. He'd be a much better president than either Bush or Kerry.
WHAT THE HELL?! Oh my god. Who does that? Tell me why he felt the need to do that. Oooooooh myyyy godddd. I think i'm going to die of laughter.......and confusion. Just..ah..WHY!? *spazzes*
Way to make fun of someone for being slightly hyper. He makes George Bush look like a Harvard Graduate, and his little dance number was absolutely ridiculous. Tradition or not that's just embarrassing to watch.

My post was directed towards everyone who was making such a big deal about someone dancing and singing YMCA...I don't get get it...it's really not a big deal. If someone at this site started dancing and singing YMCA and told us about it, we would laugh, but it seems to me that anytime anyone who is in the government, or of a high role, does something fun everybody has to be like "oh my god! he was dancing!? he's not allowed to do that! he's colin powell, hes in the government so he's banned from having a good time"...I'm sorry but that's bullshit. Yes anyways back to my main point I wasn't making fun of anyone, I don't have that right. I'm sorry if my comment came off that way though.
maybe my title of this post was a bit to harsh for some people. change it if you like. my feelings remain the same.
I agree with you that he's an idiot. I just don't think people should be criticizing him for having a little bit of fun. Yeah he looks like an idiot, so do most people when they are drunk of their asses.

Was he really drunk?
... well... no, probably not... but people do look like stupidasses when they are drunk...

Stina said "oh my god" a lot in her post so I thought you were mocking her. She's one of my best real life friends so I'd get mad if anyone was putting her down.

haha no worries. It's hard to tell what people intentions are on the internet. And I understand, I would be defensive about my friends too.
