Serves me right for believing the RIAA At about £0.05 for each member for each of those CDs, how much would the band make?
Wrong. Hybrid Theory - 15 Million (Based on Warner Brothers press release) Reanimation - 2 Million Meteora - 9 Million Live In Texas - 1.5 Million Hybrid Theory EP wasn't sold in stores but they press and re-released the album to about 25,000 fans. On top of the 1000 originally made. That's based on worldwide figures. 27.5 million.
Mark if you think you are right then take this- Hybrid Theory sold just above 14 million and not 15 million the figures for meteora and Reanimation are for the ones sold in the U.S.I have no Idea about how many copies of Meteora and Reanimation have been sold outside America.so Mark just jill and take a trip to the North Pole. You need a long vacation to cool your mind
Edit: Whoa. the quotes keep messing up. *Points to above post* Jesus, the fact that you think you're right makes you automatically right, eh? Well, here's the reality check, you're wrong. http://www.marketwire.com/mw/release_html_...elease_id=67235 Market Wire is Warner Bros' official Press Release Distributor. This means that WB writes the press releases themselves, and Market Wire distributes them to news outlets and the internet. As convincing as you sound, and personally I think it's unbelievable you're wrong, I'll believe Market Wire and Warner Bros, Linkin Park's label instead of a fan's opinion. And here's the deal, there's even more! I know the stats for worldwide figures of albums sold! Meteora - 9 million (Kerrang/NME) Reanimation - 2 milllion (Various news sources) Live In Texas - 1.5 million (Various news sources) So please, before you begin to start disrespecting me again, think before you act. $10 says the next post you post, you'll be banned because of it. And thanks for the travel tip, I've been pondering a trip farther north.
when kerrang says"worldwide",it doesn't count the us sales. for instance>on the issue 994,they wrote that evanescence had sold over 6 mil. copies worldwide. but evanescence had sold 5 mil. in the us only,so... plus, during the world music awards(in november,i think)they said that meteora had sold over 9 mil. copies worldwide(including the us). from november 'til now it's been a long time,so... i'm confused
Ofcourse linkin park is good!! They're great!! ok...maybe I don't wear rockerclothes or gothicclothes...but I really like they're songs..!! they show us they're emotions en that touches me..!! really deep!!,. When I really feel down and I'm all alone ,,.. then I listen to they're music and all the emotions come out!! that's such a great feeling ..!!you can't even imagine...,,...When the father of a really good friend of mine was dieing i listend to there music...and that helped me ...cause i really thelt like sh*t....so......don't you think to that it touches you?? xxx liz
I thought Derek was God...hmm
I think they're both sexsheh gods.. but that's just my opinion.

If they had said Internationally, it would've been everywhere except North America. According to BlabberMouth.com, Fallen has sold 11 million worldwide (back in May). http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com/blabbermo...ewsitemID=22137. Note the worldwide sales part. Please, I know what I'm saying. I've been following charts and certifications for years. Edit: And I'm pretty sure it was NME, and not Kerrang.
