Its Driv3r! Yes! The race game that everyone (specially me) has been waiting for! Well, are you going to buy it? Its going to be for the PC, XBox and PS2. I already pre-ordered it, and i get the movie 'Run The Gauntlet', which has the same storyline as Driv3r. Edit: The site of the game : Driv3r
I'm looking forward to it, i never pre-order games, i do not see the point. I have an independant games store i go to which gives me games when they get them, which is usually a few days early, but i understand pre-ordering games if you dont have this kind of accesibility. As for Driv3r, yeah, i'm gonna get it as soon as i can. Looks awesome.
Commercials like those make me want to kick myself for not giving in to the Sony/Microsoft gaming revolution. I loved Driver 2. It was the only game I've ever beaten.. With that said, I'm sure to pick up the next revolution from Sony/Microsoft. Hopefully games like this come to the PSP.
Gamespot hav now reviewed the game and gave it a score of 5.4. I personelly don't go by Gamespot reviewes but check it out anyway at Gamespot.com I'ts the main feature on the site at the moment so just click on the Driv3r link. They basically say that the game seems unfinished and sloppy and that even the die hard driver fans won't like it, and that's why they gave it a mediocre rating.
That's just great. A game I was heavily looking forward to comes out complete sh*t. It got even a lower rating than Tomb Raider: AOD, and that was a pretty buggy game. Silent Hill 4: The Room, GTA:SA and MGS3: Snake Eater better be good or I'll be furious.
GameSpot & IGN (Two well respected game reviewers) gave this game a 5.4...I guess I will have to rent it first.
Although i don't tend to go by Gamespot reviews i believe i'll be renting first too. I can't believe it got such a low score, i mean even a 7.0 would have shocked me, nevermind a 5.4.
what the score or the same name thingy :wth: If your reffering to the score, then yeah, it is quite as it was unexpected. If your reffering to the name then err... :wth:
I'm not sure if this is off-topic but I didn't want to make a new topic when this one is open. Driv3r goes one up on GTA David Sallen submitted an interesting bit of news to us today, along with a screenshot. Crazily enough, Reflections have included a character in their newly released Driv3r (which Gamespot have claimed to be 'mediocre') called Timmy Vermicelli. Even more bizarrely, the character has 'floaties' or armbands on to show his inability to swim. It'll be great to see what Rockstar have planned for revenge. this is great. Vice City ripped characters from all over the gaming world including Tanner from Driver. In a mission for Vice, Tommy had to kill certain people, all of the names were take off's to Tanner (Driver), Nick Kang (True Crime) and other known names related to the crime genre. Looks like Reflections got their own back. I'm sure R* will get their own back in San Andreas.
