Cool. I hope their new album is as good as their self-titled. I hate their two new albums. I personally think they should stop writing about political commentary in their songs. Rage did that enough
I disagree, I love political stuff. It adds a lot more meaning and substance than...'oh, my girlfriend and me are fighting' and 'oh im in pain, so much pain' (Chester/Jon Davis lol).... I think so anyways But I love that they are saying that its gonna be more progressive this time around...they need to shed their nu-metal label....its SO undeserving because they do what every nu-metal band doesn't...they don't use the same song structure for each song!
I cant wait for this album . There a great band they brang out my favourite album ever Toxicity. So i am expecting big things.
This, MudVayne's new album, and TOOL's new album is all I really care about this year. I hope they become more progressive, I don't mind the political lyrics nor the abstract lyrics. SOAD is crazy, so I don't care. I can't wait for this.
I never really liked their lyrics: Jump pogo.....bounce pogo Down pogo, up pogo Psycho, groupie, cocaine, crazy Psycho groupie coke Makes you high makes you hide Makes you really want to go, stop (I would actually prefer chester's angsty over these lyrics anyday) Why, why, why, why must we kill, kill, kill, kill, our own, own, own, own kind... (I don't think they needed to write about that stuff when they already made a song called War on their first album) Yeah, I am glad, however, that they are going to use some progressive elements. Their last two albums could have utilized some more diversity. In all, I will still check out their new album.
