I saw all of these Newer bands that not many people around here have heard of .. So to the newbies. They're heavy (most likely) to the veteran-like fans.. they're nothing. During concerts they're really heavy (not to mention fun to mosh to. Moshing is my expertise lmao jk.) But i've heard other music like Converge and Lamb of God who are much much heavier. I'd give them an eight I suppose.

Seven. From the Live tracks and things I've heard, they seem very hard. But on their actual CD's they're not as hard.
For me,I'd say 6 .. :rawk: ...some ppl say their songs are quite softy...that's why some (or most) LP haters mock em for bein' kiddies band,or girlies band. Who cares..as long as they make good music,aight...?
I've listened to Opeth from time to time, Shadows Fall, As I Lay Dying, Poison the Well. But if it weren't for LP, I would never have listened to bands like Metallica, Dream Theater, Deftones, Tool, etc. All those bands are heavier in some ways, either instrumentally or vocally. I still give LP a 5.5 to a 6. I still dig their heavier bridges
They are alot hardder in concert, like all the extra screams and stuff. Id give them like a 5 in concert.
Go listen to some Project 86. Thgat should lead you into some other awesome hard bands. Linkin Park pales in comparison to some of the bands I've heard.
