Even if Linkin Park made a Greatest Hits collection, I wouldn't buy it. It would be a waste of money because I already have all the songs and I'll put in a little effort to burn my own favorite collection of i want to.
Greatest Hits CD's usually come with like a DVD of all of their videos or some unreleased tracks or something. That's why someone would buy them I'd imagine. But the question of, "why don't you just download those unreleased tracks?" surfaces, and the most common answer is that they want to support the band or something.
i woudnt call this 100% true, no-one on the armpit seems to think this is real, and they are pretty good for up-2-date limp news
I hope Wes Borland releases some new stuff later too. Now that's what I've been waiting for. His work on the Underworld soundtrack was amazing.
Greatest hits album? More like Suck as much money out of people as you can before you totally disappear. Why the hell would someone buy songs which they probably still have lying around? If this is released, it ruins the meaning of greatest hits. You have to have a couple more albums, and a little more talent.
Yea, some release them separately, some come with the CD. Some think thier videos are so great they dont even release a greatest hits CD (Micheal Jackson, Madonna..)

Sounds great. I guess that Eat the Day project is never going to happen now though. Oh yeah, here's an MTV article about this album too. The third new track will be called "Why". Limp Bizkit's most revered moments are being assembled for an upcoming greatest-hits album that is expected to surface before the end of the year. Although a track list has not been determined, three new songs — tentatively titled "Relentless," "Masturbation" and "Why" — are likely to appear in the set alongside the hits from the band's four studio albums. Durst revealed a bit about the best-of collection Monday in an interview with Uncle Nasty of Denver radio station KBPI to talk up "Almost Over," the third single from the band's latest album, Results May Vary. The markets of stations that add the tune to their playlists, Durst said, would likely be rewarded with a visit from Limp Bizkit when the band kicks off a tour later this summer. An Interscope Records spokesperson confirmed that a cross-country trek is in the works, but an itinerary has yet to be hammered out. "Relentless" and "Masturbation" were recorded during the Results May Vary sessions and have nary a trace of rapping, the band's spokesperson said. "Relentless" features guitar work from Durst and Elvis Baskette, the album's engineer, while Bizkit guitarist Mike Smith lent his talents to "Masturbation." "Why" was also recorded during the album sessions and was produced by Durst himself.
theyre not going to dissapear anytime soon
IF they try going back to their old heaviness. And not start making collections and sh!t.
As much as I love bizkit They really need to get their act together and release some more good material...And non of that RMV crap before they think about a greatest hits. Please bizkit turn back into the band you once were
Well, the tracklisting isn't announced yet..but "Take a Look Around" should be on it. It was one of their better songs too.
Wouldn't it be great if this is the cd that finishes their Interscope deal, and then no one else wants to sign them?
