I saw this movie, and although I didn't read the book, I enjoyed this movie. What are your opinions on the movie?

I just got home from seeing it. The movie strayed a few times from the book. Harry getting the Firebolt broom happened in the middle of the story. They focused too much on the possibilty of something forming between Hermione and Ron when in the book all they did was fight. But the Dementors were scary as hell and Sirius Black was awesome.

I really loved this movie! I think it was the best so far. It did stray a lot, though, and they could have explained a few things a little better. They never told how Lupin knew how to work the map and they didn't really explain about him being a werewolf or his past. But the acting was a lot better on the kids' part. It was much better than the others, IMO.

Go see it in the theater. The best scenes are the Dementor attacks.

the new director changed alot of stuff but some of it was cool like the big clock and wearing muggle cloths( i hate robes) and the steps down to hagrid's hut which were not there before. the movie flowed very smoothly and followed the most imortant parts of the book pretty closly.

    3 1/2 stars our of 4 :)

He also changed where the Whomping Willow was. In the last movie it was in a big open field, and in this one it was on a rocky hillside.

Yeah, it's worth seeing. I guess it was better because the dramatic parts were more dramatic, and there was more comedy in the sense of comic relief.

If youve seen Lord of the Rings, then you know what the Ringwraiths look like. They basically look the same except they fly, they have no legs and their black shrouds are torn up. They have rips on the head portion where you can see their open mouths that they use to suck the good feeling and soul out of their victims. Their hands are the only visible part of them, and theyre just rotten, bony skinny fingers. Ill try to post a picture of one if I can find a good one.

The ingWraiths are the things that ride the horses right? And in the first movie, the hobbits hide from them by some tree roots? If so, that's kind of how I figured they'd look like.

I thought they could've explained who were Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs a bit more 'cause for someone who didn't read the book, it could've been a bit hard to understand. Also, they changed a lot of the settings (mostly on the grounds of Hogwarts) and I thought the spotlight was too much on Hermione.

Other than that, it was amazing, especially the Dementors and the Marauders map!

I saw it the day it came out and it was GREAT. Definitely the best of the three. Now I just can't wait for the fourth movie (the 4th book was my favorite). :D

I saw this, this morning. It was great! I haven't read the book but i thought the film was amazing. Better than the first two. It got more to the point and there wasn't too much boring dialogue. Class film ^_^

I remeber seeing it and been embarrased about how much I prefer this film over Troy  there was a little problem I had with the film, its not a big issue since this film mostly apeals to little children , but it was to do when they travel back in time towards the end of the film, basically they should now be in a one continues loop now.

It could have been made a cool scene too.

I'm gonna see it this Friday, right after the hell known as "Troy High School" is over.

I thought it was a lot better than the first two, mainly because it was darker, but the one thing I didn't like was that they cut a ton of events from the book. Yes I understand that it would be twice as long if they didn't.

EDIT: I just saw it yesterday.

I myself think he never should have changed the clothes, it kinda changes the Harry Potter Image. It makes it seem more like normal life and Harry Potter isn't exactly normal life... anyways yeah i thought it was pretty good, whenever a dementor part came they'd turn up the AC so it would give us the chills .... wicked cool movie
