Think Linkin Park has credibility? Alternative Press recently added the band to their "cred page", asking readers whether they thought Linkin Park had credibility in today's music business. You can go here to express your opinions. Thanks to Twicethetrouble!
it means that they are a worthwhile band that isn't just a joke and that they have music that is deep and credible gee...they sure don't want much info about you do they...........
really nice...i think we make difference...you know...answering this... we're supporting them...LP DO have credit
:rawk: If they weren't credible then what DO they talk about? All their songs have a certain meaning in them, it's only up to the person to take those words and apply them. For example, I for sure want "Somewhere I Belong". They don't necessarily need to go aroung singing about politics to get a message through, know what i mean? so, to make it all short, i do believe Linkin Park has credibility. ROCK ON!!!

It depends on which kind. Credibility is indeed what you said, but then theres what's commonly known as street-cred. If a band has a lot of street-cred, they are popular amongst the masses. Going by you deffinition of credibility, LP are still quite credible, although they are losing street-credibility rapidly.

yeah and its not just if LP has credibility, its if they're losing it or not. Of Course they started out with Credibility or else they wouldnt have sold multi-million copies of HT but meteora hasnt even begun to touch what Hybrid Theory has done.

Yeah, I knida noticed that here in the Philippines(and of course all around the world). There are people who really like Hybrid Theory, but they didn't get to like Meteora as much(but hey, they all have great albums). And yeah, I think LP is credible, and they have all the reasons to stay long in the music industry, not just because of them, but also because of the people who LOVE them all over the world.(This may seem a bit OT but, during the Meteora World Tour, when they got here in the Philippines, there were really LOTS of people in the concert and the people were reaaaly wild...too bad I wasn't able to go, and I just heard that same story from 3 people. Tis nothing much, just wanna share it) B)
