Hmm, i've been contemplating wether or not to post this as it's not really "news" but it could be. From word of mouth, a korn fan told me that korn are planning to release 2 new tracks on their upcoming greatest hits. He said that one of those tracks would involve Chester Bennington in some way. Now this is only rumour and speculation and i know it's not official news as of yet, but i thought i'd see if anybody else knows anything about this. I personelly feel that in this case it's not true entirely. I mean for "Korns greatest hits" why would they put Chester on a track, wouldnt they just want the album to be pure Korn? Maybe, this links to Projekt Revolution in some way, that Korn will perform a track (new, maybe) with Chester on the tour. Although, as i said. Unofficial. Rumour. Speculation, but i thought i would post anyway for you to comment on the matter.
I dunno I read an interview with JD yesterday about the greatest hits He said stuff about cover songs and lil jon but no chester Dunno though his appearance could be a suprise
well this was posted on the LPU as being posted on the Korn Kamp: "this is official from the Korn Kamp Message Board the greatest hits: volume 1 collection will feature NINETEEN singles and TWO brand new tracks which are covers of pink floyd's "another brick in the wall (part i)" and public enemy's "fight the power" (featuring lil' jon producing and chester bennington of linkin park guesting, which i may add is the FIRST MOTHERFÚCKIN' SINGLE BABY.) it's due out 08.30.04 and will have limited editions in a special package with a booklet with quotes from their fans. "
This is almost as believable as the KROQ Christmas song that Mike supposedly was gonna do with Jon but it turned out to be just a lie. I'll wait until I see actual confirmation of this some way or another because right now it just looks a little untrue.
Emmmmmmmmm, Tell me if this is completely stupid, but, Could it not be.........System? Maybe Jon considers that to be a brilliant song (Not just his opinion )
If you'd read this thread you'd see it's been rumored that Chester is singing on a cover of "Fight The Power" by Public Enemy. Jon would not sing a song that he wrote and already recorded in his own voice. The only reason you hear Chester on the album is because his label prohibited him from singing on the soundtrack.
