Meteora Versus and Riffs on Next Album

hey you know how Linkin Park made like 80 songs for Meteora? Do you think that theyll use any of the riffs from the unused songs or versus on the next album?

 

Probably not. They didn't use those songs for Meteora because they weren't good. DUH.

im sure LP can make more than 12 [not including forward] good songs, come on guys

 

i dont mean the songs but wut about the guitar riffs and stuff like a.o6

 

why in the world would they use 2+ year old riffs on a brand new album?

It's called creativity, guys. I think Linkin Park has some. I mean come on, they're not ####### Milli Vanilli.

if they have any plans of changing their sound/style, they won't use any of that crap.

of course, if they use Don Gilmore for the next album, then you could very well see some of those riffs. I'm willing Gilmore threatened to kill Linkin Park if they used A.06 because he thought it was to 'heavy', probably.

I'm thinking they may draw from some of the stuff they didn't use, maybe as inspiration. Not so much direct using, though.

they were probably the best songs ever written in the world and don gilmore rejected them

 

highly doubt that.

 

if its from Linkin Park it has to be good and how is A.06 too heavy?

 

I would actualy like to see more than 12 songs on linkin parks albums

hey casey and other geniouses... its funny how no ones given a real fact about how don gilemore is bad. ive heard a couple of quotes from the band about how hes good, but none about how hes bad. chester - "he can make a bad song sound really good, but is that how he wants to spend his time? no." and unless your being sarcastic about all this... i find it hard to believe that a.06 is the heaviest song you've ever heard.

 

Ok, you go listen to the Hybrid Theory demos and tell me they arent better than the cd versions. Also, I think the original lyrics (whatever they may be) to songs like Somewhere I Belong should never have been changed, because it would have been nice to hear what they REALLY feel, not s percentage of their feelings with shifted words to please a producer. Don made them rewrite SIB so many times and they probably should have kept the original lyrics. The only good thing Gilmore did for Meteora was give the idea to change the keyboard strings in BTH to live strings. Theres your reasons.
