It looks that way, LJ. LP needs to have add some more complexity to their songs, especially in the percussion and guitar sections. It looks like Rob really stepped it up, so let's see how this album turns out.

They should also experiment with some new time and key signitures and maybe add some more dynamics. Actually, I thought the EP was a bit more dynamic than HT, so lets see if they improve in these areas.

Not to say HT is bad, but they just need to be a bit more complex than HT to create the ULTIMATE album...

they've also realized the small mistakes that they might have made on the first album you know.. so im sure it will exceed too.

I agree but that's no the easiest thing to do... HT was such a great album so who knows... but lp should be able to outdo themselves

true, but i think they surpass even if sib wont be a hit, just look at reanimation poa wasnt a real hit but still the album sold very well.
not as good as hybrid theory, but this is a sort of better hybrid theory so i think they will

Actually, for an album, Reanimation did not do that well. I think they sold a total of 600,000. Yea, thats a lot, but when you think about it...its not that much, especially compared to Hybrid Theory.

No, Reanimation went both gold and platinum - over 1,000,000 copies sold, and I believe it's on the verge of going 2x platinum.

Reanimation, in my opinion, was awesome! I think it deserves 2x platinum! The thing was that it leaked too early, and I think that might have brought its sales down.
