That was its working title when they first started working on it, though; so it is, essentially, Ocarina Of Time 2.

I can't wait for this game. You can see the texture of the cloth on his clothes. *drools*

The story I heard on that was, that preview was only thrown together to show the capabilites of the Gamecube. Major let-down for fans.

Nah. It was going to be a full-blown game. I heard that from people at E3. Well, reports from E3.

Just as this, supposedly, is WW2, though it's yet to be seen how the story will tie in, maybe that working name was giving only for the fact that it's the game produced after WW for the GC.

Edit: Also, as not to double post, it's very nice to see that there are this many Zelda fans on the site :). I've been a Zelda-cult follower since the beginning ;)

I've been hooked on the Zelda series since Ocarina of Time came out. I've played and beaten every game, too.

    Oh, here's some video footage:

Yes, that's the trailer I've been viewing, for some reason though, the sound seems better on that one.

I'm not sure if that video is the same as the video in the first post, but I can't view the trailer from the first post without signing up to IGN and you have to pay to do that. I'm glad I found this free one. lol.

Hmm, that's weird, I haven't paid for anything and I'm able to view it...and yes, that was the same trailer.

Wind Waker's graphics fit prefectly with the story. I couldn't imagine it any other way.

Where do you think this story fits into the whole Zelda series. I always thought a WW 2 would be cel shaded, but this is different. Theories are going around that this game might be before OoT, like Links father fighting in the great war. You see a big army in the trailer

The game is Wind Waker 2.

It takes place after the first. The first game was cel-shaded because it was the story of a child. The cel-shaded graphics fit the story better. Now that he's older, the graphics reflect the darkness of the story and whatnot. I hope you understand what I mean.

Also, in the trailer, you can see Link running across Hyrule field.

It's official working name is Wind Waker 2, that's good enough for me. Yes, it will eventually get another name, which should be cool, but the thing I'm most looking forward to is the new gameplay. A LoZ game totally as adult Link should feel different from all the others, I can't wait to see what moves Miyamoto's thrown in. Also, fighting on horseback looks like a new experience, even though technically it was done in OoT, but nothing like this.

Two of my friends just bought gamecubes, and I'm thinking about it.

Pros: Cheapest console as of now
cons:Nintendo games (not a fan of many)
    Cell Shading
    Lame Cartoony Graphics

Wind waker was a good game, but when ever i played it i felt like i was playing a little kids game. hopefully the new game will have more deatailed graphics. no matter what it will still be an awsome game.
