San Andreas

As you may know, Rockstar Games will be putting out a new GTA game on October 19th in the U.S and Ca, and on October 22nd in the Uk, Au, and De exclusively on PS2.

Game Informer will be coming out with a issue in June with a lot of information, and screens of the video game. Until than, they don't want people putting information on websites or any of the screens on websites. They have, however, allowed GTAGaming to put the plot summary and three screens onto their website. At the end of this post, I'll post the link to where you could find all the information.

For now, I will post my opinion of this game. By the looks of it, this game is going to be way more realistic than the other GTA games that were out.

You'd be able to recruit gang members and even do a four-person drive-by, unlike the other GTA games, whom only gave you the ability to perform a drive by by yourself.

Something that really makes the game seem realistic is the need to eat. Not only that, but if you eat too much, you end up gaining weight. But don't worry, you CAN lose that weight by going to the gym. And no, I'm not kidding.

A great feature of the game is the ability to rob houses. This is a wish come true for someone who has always wanted to go into houses and get something from it. This, however, requires great skill and planning. Which goes to my next point:

The game seems to much harder than the others. Vice City really disappointed me in that the missions were so easy. But by the looks of San Andreas, easy isn't in its vocabulary. And this I like.

I really like the idea that this GTA seems to be more of a "Gangsterish" game. A lot of people seem to dislike this but I don't. I'm really into the "gangster" scene, which makes me even more interested in the game.

I know for a fact, when that game comes out, I'm getting it.

I also like how it has a plotline. Vice City did have a plotline but not as big as what this one is going to have.

When it comes to PC, this will be the only time I can put gangsta rap music in the mp3 folder, and have it actually match the scenery. Except for the shooting and stuff. That goes pefect.

I played GTA on PC, XBOX, and PS2, and I still don't see what all the hype about. You play it enough and it comes a necessity to use cheats. I personally only played it for about 2 hours on story mode and I had to bust out the cheats to enjoy the game.

 

even thou i dont own any other GTA game, this one i am most likely going to try to get.

it looks amazing and it could take a very long time to beat (according to my friend)

 

Sometimes you cant live without cheats; sometimes you can.

Unfortunately for me, Splinter Cell has no cheats. <_<

No. It just means it's going to take around a year until it gets released for any other console.

I read the article on San Andreas in Game Informer and it made me want the game even more. The bottom link has a summary of what the article says.

It just doesn't seem right riding one of those bikes in the early 90s without a Korn song playing, for some reason.

It's not that I used them to play and beat the game, I used cheats to try and make the game fun. I don't know, it just bored me after a while. You can only kill so many civilians with a baseball bat...
