I just got Sepultura's song entitled "Roots Bloody Roots", reported the first nu metal song ever. I really think this is an amzing song, i wanna hear your opinions on the band. Listening to a few of their new songs, i don't really like them, but back when Max Cavalera (Soulfly) was still with them, they were awesome. "Roots" and "Chaos A.D." are on my "to-buy" list :p

Sepultra are Gods of nu-metal. "Roots Bloody Roots" is one of their most popular songs, but I don't think it's their best.

The first 'nu metal' song is WALK THIS WAY by AEROSMITH and RUN DMC

And have you people ever heard of DOGEATDOG?
They played 'crossover' or whatever it's called ong before limp bizkit and slipknot

Heh... i mean the song, the album's actual name is "Primitive", but both rule. I just got Prophecy, and it's so amazing i'm also gonna buy the other three.

maybe nu rock, but it wasn't nu metal.

    1) They played KINDA nu metal only when Max was still with them. Now they've gone from bad to worse, and only their live performances are worth it.
2)It's not like they played real nu metal, but they actually shaped the sound of half of today's modern metal bands. I only named them Fathers of nu metal and Roots Bloody Roots the first real nu metal song (that aerosmith ong is just rap over rock, nothing to do with nu metal)

Oh, btw, Casey, if you classify Sepultura as rock, i will cut off YOUR genitals.
