Books, DVDs, A New Album, and More Books.

In a recent MTV.com article about Linkin Park's newest video for "Breaking The Habit", it was announced that a Japanese comics company, Tokyo Pop, will be releasing a book of manga based around the concept of the video. The book, which will be released this summer may also be accompanied by a DVD, according to Linkin Park guitarist Brad Delson. It's unsure what will be on the DVD.

It was also revealed that after their Projekt Revolution tour ends in September, the band will start working on a follow-up to 'Meteora' in October. Brad says that the band loves the creativity of "Breaking The Habit" so much that they'll use it as a model when the recording process comes up again in the fall. "Creatively, 'Breaking the Habit' is one of the songs we're most proud of. It's so familiar, but at the same time it's so foreign to anything we've ever done. It really is just a unique animal, and when we approach making the next record, I definitely hope to build on some of [the techniques we used for 'Breaking the Habit']. Obviously, we'll retain some of the elements our fans know us and love us for, but we like to push the envelope and challenge ourselves creatively whenever we go and do something new.", added Delson.

And finally, the name of Linkin Park's year-end coffee-table book of pictures, testimonies and more from their post-Meteora tours has been released. "From The Inside: Linkin Park's Meteora" will hit book stores in the fall.

So much LP related stuff to look forward to. Looks like it's going to be a busy few years for the band...not that they arent always busy anyway.

 

Great news! The fact that Linkin Park want to be really different and creative the next time around, brings a large smile to my face. BTH is by far one of my favorite songs on the CD because of how different it is, and the fact that Linkin Park are going to push the envelope so that the next record is as creative as Breaking The Habit, makes me more anxious then ever.

I'm so happy LP are listening to everyone, I can only hope the CD will be as different as they claim its gonna be.
