just wanted to know if anyone has read this book, Ive just finished it and though it was a terrific read, I highly recomend it to everyone. its proberbly way up there amongst the top books (i.e Harry potter, Lord of the rings) I know that Ron Howard and Brian grazer and Akiva Goldsman are teaming up again to make this book into a feature film ( they last made a beautiful mind)

GREAT book. Absolutely loved it. Heard it wasn't his (Dan Brown's) original idea though... heard he copied it from a book called the Da Vinci Legacy or Da Vinci Supremacy or something like that. Still a good book though.

You better have some free time on your hands because you will NOT be able to put this book down after you start reading it. It really is that great in my opinion.

I agree, the book is way to good to not read, Im currently on Angels and Demons, which has the same charactor from the book.

The Da Vinci Code was pretty good, but it was very commercial-feeling. I've also read Angels and Demons, which was a little unbelievable, though not bad, and The Deception Point, which was downright awful. Characters were cliche, plot was predictable...ick.

One thing I will say for Dan Brown though, despite his flaws, is that he really knows how to build suspence. It's just frusterating how cookie-cutter his characters are...

I must admit I was disapointed by the was they have Sophie Neveu be a decendant of you know who, I could see that coming from a mile away, the books is still a really good read and you would be stupid not 2, I must say that this film should have its fair share of controvosy when it finally gets made.
