This movie was so good that Quentin Tarantino offered to present it. It's been confused that he directed it, when all he is doing is presenting it. But, this movie is alot like Kill Bill, only set in Japan with a male lead actor. Jet Li stars as "Nameless", a man with a supernatural talent vowing revenge after his people were slaughtered by the armies of Qin King.

I absolutely cannot wait for this movie, it's going to be incredible. Check out the trailer, it looks so good. http://movies.yahoo.com/movies/feature/hero.html

Jet Li in a Tarantino movie? It better be good, there was only one Jet Li movie that I liked, but Tarantino never brought me down. It's in my curiousity level.

Yeah, I have this movie at home, the original Chinese version with English subtitles. It's okay, but it's not a film to go see if you're going to see it because of Jet Li. It surprisingly lacks a lot of action though but it's a very artsy film. You can just tell by the colors and visuals they used, even from the trailer. It's actually not that long too. I hope they don't edit it too much because Miramax does have that bad reputation of doing that like they did to Shaolin Soccer.

Oh yeah, Donnie Yen (Blade II, Shanghai Knights) is in it too and the best fight in the film is actually the one with him and Jet Li.

Donnie Yen is awesome, he doesn't speak English though does he?

He spoke English pretty well in Shanghai Knights even though he didn't have a lot of lines.

Seraph was a great character for that actor, I don't think Jet Li would be able to match those martial arts.

I don't think Jet Li could've pulled off Seraph like Sing Ngai did.

Tru and I think Jet li himself would have overshadowed it , but getting an unknown actor and doing it by having him star in a big movie was a good idea

Yeah, or else the credits for The Matrix Reloaded and Revolutions would be

    Jet Li
    Keanu Reeves

    The Matrix Reloaded

Just like how Arnold Schwarzenegger was the star of Batman and Robin instead of George Clooney.

Tarantino had nothing to do with the making of the film. I think he's putting his name on this movie just so more people will go see it since they trust his taste. His name is also on it since Miramax wouldn't be as big as it is now if it wasn't for him anyway...I think. :wth:

Yea, Miramax was the sh*ttiest distribution company in all of Hollywood before QT started working with them. Matter of fact, they could still be the sh*ttiest distribution company in all of Hollywood =P
