You know those stupid bars that go under your link bar like Hot Bar and Xupiter? Well, those downloaded themselfs on my computer and there really annoying. When I open the Remove Programs menu neither of them are there. Does anyone know how I can get rid of these?
START > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore Note: I take no responsibility for what effects it does to your computer so proceed with caution!
System restore: Every once in a while...your computer will create a "checkpoint" this is just in case something goes wrong after it-you won't lose too much data. It creates these checkpoints every few days...or when you install a new program. I agree with what Omi said. Go back to the nearest checkpoint before these things were installed and restore your system to that time. You might have to re-install some of your stuff...but hey.. WARNING: SOME TIMES YOU CAN LOSE FILES CREATED BEFORE THIS TIME...BE CAREFUL. It sometimes happens.... <_<
I finally figured it out, I didn't feel comfortable doing the check point thing because I had no idea when these things were installed. I had to go to HotBar and Xupiters site and download a seperate program which would uninstall them. I think thats the stupidist thing a programmer could do. Anyways, thanks for the suggestions/help.
