In the end was the first linkin park song i ever heard, and it is STILL my favorite, they should have never reanimated it, the reanimation doesn't have as much of effect on me as the original version does, and the only reanimations i really like are Pts.Of.Athrty and Rnw@y

The Reanimation version of A Place For My Head was really disappointing for me, i think they could have done a lot better on that

High Voltage... first of all, I missed Chester! We need him back dammit! And secondly, the looped piano gave me a migraine, no jokes!

I actually like Plc.4 Mie Haed... I'm a weirdo, I like techno rap stuffages... but really... writing about bathroom matters IS a bit annoying... >< and they say "get crunk"... don't steal Lil Jon's line... thats what makes him Lil Jon... you can easily kill LP with a Lil Jon line....

There are two versions of the original High Voltage from the HT EP. There's the b-side to 'Hybrid Theory' which appeared on the OSC single cd, and there's "H! Vltg3" from Reanimation. I'm guessing you meant "H! Vltg3".

The ruined In The End. One of their most awsome songs just.. completley ruined! That was a great song until they supposedly ####### reanimated it.

If it was an option I would've chosen My December. So I voted for Cure for the Itch and I refuse to write it out like the Reanimation titles.

No, the song wasn't bad. I actually thought it was nice. ^_^ I mean , They could've done a LOT better but that's fine by me.
The only reanimations that REALLY sucked were Krwlng and Enth-E-nd.
At first i kinda liked Enth-E-nd, but it statred becoming very annoying after a few listens.

well, considering this is the Reanimation forum, I assumed you all knew what I meant. :wth: Sorry I didn't clarify... yea, I don't like the reanimation one, but the other one is pretty cool though.

It wasn't an option but My December shouldn't have been touched. With You and Papercut remixes were almost as good as the originals i thought because there's the COME ON! bit! :D  and the bridge in Papercut remix is better with that guitar line. :rawk:

I kinda like Reanimation :D . But if I have to choose, I'd say ... uhh ... With You. The original one sounds better.

No offense to anyone (I love you guys :D... ...*ahem*) but I hate people saying "aw reanimation sucked so bad, they never should've released that crap." Don't even bother listening to it if you're not open to other types of music. I am a music freak... I listen to everything except country and commercial rap, I play guitar, piano and keyboard, drums, saxophone, I have music mixing/creation software... I do EVERYTHING!!!! (not bragging, i'm sure a lot of u guys do more)I love reanimation, and hybrid theory AND meteora. No offense... but some of you people need to look outside the box. Reanimation is friggin' sweet! I know it just depends on your tast but....yeah...

I agree to the last post,

reanimation might be slightly different to what linkin park generally produce but you have to understand that linkin park are streching out to all peoples music tastes for instance they got CHALI 2NA to help turn the song 'Forgotten' into a completly new song streching out to the hip hop culture (in the end, papercut,by myself and runaway are also examples of this),My december streches out to the more pop culture,Place for my head steches out to the fusion of Trance and heavy rock culture,With you and one step closer to the heavy rock culture and so on.
Thats excactly why linkin park has so many fans.Look at the lyrics of the song step up (not on reanimation)about being excepted into hip hop, these are the things that all the rap artists were saying to linkin park in their early hi hop stages, they wern't excepted into the hip hop side of things until mike started rapping in songs a bit more to stronger beats. That was when x-ecutioners took interest in them and then the hip hop community joined them

Reanimation is a perfect example of a master peice and just because it doesn't appeal to one music culture doesn't mean that its crap :rawk:

Ha that's what I'm talking about! At least some people get it. If you compare Reanimation to Hybrid Theory it loses horribly and will suck to you. But if you take it for what it is, a remix album, it's great. One of the best remix albums EVER. Especially from a rock band, which you don't hear much (Limp's sucked horribly). All LP and the Reanimators did was take a song and push it to the extremes of the genres it mixed. So of course By Myself would be harder, One Step Closer would be darker, Crawling more melodic and In The End more rap. It makes sense when you think about. I love Reanimation more than Meteora based on detail and creativity. Everyone just go and listen to Reanimation as a remix album and not Hybrid Theory Pt. 2.

I have a very, very broad taste in music. I just went from listening to Avril Lavigne's new album to NIN to some Japanese Rap/rock to classical music. I think only people with broad musical taste truly like Reanimation because they can go through every track and like all the genre mixing.

    Eh. I'm done. :p

I might be alone in this, but I think Reanimation is the best album from LP. in the end shouldn't be remixed, and meteora has some better songs like numb and faint, but I still love reanimation.
    I'm sorry ;)
