    well its all based on opinion, you like evanescence, your likely to defend them if someone is sending them up, i said lets settle this, but you kept going, i can't do much more

    I like Evanescence, yes, but that has nothing to do with my defending them. I'm defending them because I don't see how their songs sound alike. That's all.

    Now, if you said all of Hatebreed's songs sounded the same, I'd agree with you even though I love them. :lol:

    But, yeah, we can end this now. :)

    At the risk of having someone have a go at me :wink:, I have to admit that I also find Evanescence repetitive. I've heard Fallen in it's entirety about a dozen times now and I still have difficulty distinguishing between songs, so I can entirely relate to what Cypher's been saying.


    Having said that, they're sound is *theirs* and Amy Lee's singing style might be the reason 'everything sounds the same'. It's been an accusation levelled at Chester and Linkin Park too, to be fair. But there you go.
