    I downloaded one off Kazaa and it sounded exactly like One Step Closer... I think there's a problem there... :mike:

    Plaster was just a working name for one step closer, a demo was never leaked and the only thing close to a demo that can be found on the net is live unofficial bootlegs from before HT was released.

    Shows how much you know. Plaster was the demo that got LP the attention that made them break into the music world. It eventually was named One Step Closer, but LP has said that there was an OSC demo called Plaster

    from what i know plaster is just the original name for OSC before it was changed to OSC [lp prolly didnt like the 2 "P" tracks back2back, osc more catchy] its nbot actyually a demo

    hmmm.....well i believe I have the Plaster demo you're all looking for...it sounds exactly like OSC (complete with the ending guitar riff of Papercut). the only difference is there is some tapping noises in the "just like before" parts, and also in the bridge before the "shut up" part.

    i dunno if this is the actual demo or not, but i can tell you that the pitch-bent Plaster is indeed a fake. I tried replicating it myself; i ripped OSC off Hybrid Theory and pitch-bent it down one semitone, and they sounded EXACTLY THE SAME, so if you have that, you might as well delete it
