OK LPA what are your thoughts on KoRn (My favourite band ever.) I think they're amazing both guitarists (Head and munky) both play 7 string and have such good talent. Fieldy's bass lines have amazing (I've actually heard people mistake his bass lines for drum lines) The drumming isnt amazing but is of a high standard. And Jons voice is amazing. (Jon and Fieldy went to the same high school as Beavis and butthead) So what do you all think on this amazing Bakersfield fivesome.
Radical Dreamer, where do you get your sigs? There always SO good! And yeah, Korn's pretty good...they're average musicians, but Fieldy is pretty good on bass. They have some great songs although they aren't as good as they were in the mid-90s.
I got very bored of them. They're the epitome of nu-metal (downtuned guitars with teenage angst-ridden lyrics), and although they're not awfully bad, I'd prefer not to listen to them.
Yeah, I never listen to them anymore...I find them quite repetitive, especially now that they've done so many albums. Jon Davis is terrible at writing lyrics too, he talks about the same thing in almost every song! I have to give some respect to some of their guitar riffs though
Radical Dreamer, where do you get your sigs? There always SO good!
I believe she makes them. But forgive me if I'm wrong Radical.. KoRn are the godfathers of nu-metal. They influenced a shitload of today's bands and its for a reason. They are simply the best in the genre.

:wth: Linkin Park > Korn
And i continue: Linkin Park > Korn >= limpbizkit>... F*ck that, i had a three-hour maths lesson this morning They're my 2nd fav. band, along with limpbizkit. Fieldy is simply amazing (true, his lines aren't far from drums, the way he plays with full treble), Jon has the best nu metal voice and head plays amazing lead guitar. Plus the funniest videos ever
*cough* I love Korn, don't get me wrong,but... Linkin Park>Smile Empty Soul>Muse>Phantom Planet>Hoobastank>Lostprophets>Yellowcard>Spitalfield>Korn *cough* You may now start the flaming towards me *goes off and hides*
Ok people said KoRns lyrics arnt that good and I respect their opinions but at least Jon writes about experiences and true things while some bands just string words together and hope it sounds good. And "Shoots and ladders" you think its just jon singin nursery rhymes but the way he actually wrote the song and what he based it on was geanius This to me is quite smart the way he thought it up
:wth: Linkin Park > Korn
I don't classify LP as TECHNICALLY in the same genre as LP. Sure LP are nu-metal as well but Korn has considerably less rap then Linkin Park.
Yellowcard > Linkin Park > Lostprophets > Korn > Smile Empty Soul > Spitalfield Don't listen to Muse or Phantom Planet. Yellowcard owns your soul. Otherwise, YC and Spitalfield should be exempt from this list because they're not even in the same genre as Korn.
I love KoRn they're amazing. Jon Davis' voice is one of my favorites, guitar/bass wise i love the riffs, and same with drums. nu-metal is my favorite genes in music so yeah
