No, that's easy enough to have perspective on - people who are going to the shows are typically attending one date and having their one experience, and that's who the setlists are for, not everyone who's keeping a close eye on the setlists for every show. A lot of people that have turned up to see Linkin Park have no idea what the band is going to play, whether that's during this cycle or a past one.
*Insert "and I took that personally" meme here* /jk. I just think Faint is the better closer. I think the overall energy and the build to the outro is unmatched. It's heavier and more climactic, whereas Bleed It Out is a feel good party anthem that kind of plays its hand right away. But yes the "OMG HE RAPPED IT'S GOIN DOWN!" is very overdramatic. As someone who probably got the weakest rotation of the leg, I still enjoyed every minute of the set (And From the Inside truly does tear the house down). I think as the band makes more music with Emily, the sets will only get more "predictable" as there will be no more room for these deep cut surprises. I will also never take it for granted that the band is making music and performing again.
I'm not in disagreement there, and I don't really like "Bleed It Out" that much - it's just that, when it comes to a song either closing the main set or the encore, that difference is basically non-existent to me.
