Holy shit! I noticed during the song that vocals were screamier but I was screaming so much on my own that I didn't even notice him!

Architects were fantistic for the opening as well.

    loved this to bits.
    great concert experience.
i will use the LP World Tour cup forever for my drinks. (it cost me 3 bucks, so it better hold a long time)

(someone accidentally kicked my cup full of coca cola and spilled it over someone else - i still feel sorry for the person but he seemed nice [he was drunk af anyway])

    Alright, review time!

As I had the standard standing entry, it meant I was in the lower half or even last third of the ground area, behind the 2nd set of speakers and thus pretty far from the stage. I guess all the closer spots were taken up by LPU pits, FZ pits, those kind of things. Anyhow, it's not something that bothered me much if at all, it just means that it was quite different from Hamburg, with a lot of the show being experienced via the big screens, the production, and the crowd atmosphere. Also it means probably none of the crowd action in this area was filmed, bit unfortunate because there was A LOT of it.

The show opened with SIB and yeah, it definitely isn't the strongest opener . Not much going on there, but with that said, Emily performance on it was really good. That was followed up by the trio LFY-CTB-POA, and wow, now that was some wild combo. Packed a punch for sure, and people really go nuts on Cut The Bridge - especially on the "Cut it Down" parts.

Bit after that, you had TEM and UFTB quite close to each other, both receiving great reactions. Lots of singing during TEM, lots of movement during UFTB. The catalyst was also played around that part of the set, and that one had quite an awkward moment. Moshers were preparing a big circle for the breakdown, and of course I knew that was not coming, thinking "Oh no..". The piano outro starting at that point translated into a somewhat troll move... The band should really play that break :sweating:

WFTE and COG were nice and smooth, and cemented again how impressive a singer Emily is and how much of a good fit she is for the band.

Onto Two Faced. First huuuuge moshpits of the show, especially during the bridge, where two individual pits combined to create a monster one. I really wish this was captured on video, but not getting my hopes up. Crowd went wild, definitely a highlight. It was followed by Mike solo medley, where I could participate into some rowing-sitting-on-the-floor thingy during the WTCFM part, a surprising match but that did fit, and that was a new experience for me. Also an interesting abs workout ahah

Now, of course, the biggest adrenaline rush I got from the show was when the band started playing KTTK. Oh shit, I didn't see that one coming. The next 3 minutes were a mix of small moshing - about 10/15 of us as I thankfully was in the eye of the storm for that - and me just going euphoric and loosing my sanity. You can tell it's a song most of the crowd isn't familiar with - heck I literally saw it labelled as Casualty on YouTube today. Yet I'm so grateful the band keeps playing it for now. Definitely feels like experiencing a rare deep cut, so damn happy to have gotten lucky here!

OSC was another story. That one sure is very well known - surprise, surprise - and that led to a second monster of a multi-pits merged mosh. The feat of Sam from Architects was the cherry on the cake. Good there was a small break after all that, because it got really hectic.

The next section, with the likes of Lost, Stained, and Overflow was really BIG on the low ends. Those hit hard live, and especially Lost caugh me off guard with that. Gnarly bass. That's a section of the show where I could focus more on the production and effects, and there was some nice stuff going on in that regards, especially on Stained.

Moving on, Numb was fun, LYF vibey, but ITE, now that's a song that will and should never be taken out of the setlist. Such a communion moment, and the crowds goes so loud, simply epic. The transition to Faint is cool too, probably the third biggest pit moment after TF and OSC.

The encore with three songs felt a bit short, but each of them delivered, with a special mention to BIO that led to a final huuuuuge party like circle pit thingy. Crazy energy on this one, awesome show closer .

In conclusion. I'm all bruised today, have a scratch or two, and I have lost my voice. But holy hell was that worth it. What a show. While Hamburg felt maybe more unique, this felt like the band was firing on all cylinders, at 100%, and have really mastered their sets.

Anyone who has the opportunity to attend a show, go and see them. It's fire.

Lidl is giving away tracksuits at Deustche Bank Park currently.

They jumped on this marketing opportunity so quickly.

Not only did they decide to swiftly get in on this organic crossover, but they approached it in such a clever and appropriate way that shows they understand it

Nope, that's not a mistake. The band moved the usual encore (except Papercut) to the end of the main set, and the last two songs of the usual main set to the end of the encore to close out the show

That is such an epic setlist and cool to see them end on Faint. I love Bleed It Out and think it's a great song to end on but it's nice to change it up and Faint is a perfect closer.

    Once again, awesome setlist.

"Wastelands" makes an appearance as the featured Mike verse! Yay! Let's have "All for Nothing" or "Good Goodbye" next.

Nothing jaw-dropping but good to see them messing with the set a little :)

Faint back in its rightful spot. Bleed It Out is a party, but you simply can't beat that outro.

After 5 shows in Germany, Linkin Park left almost everything on stage.

    Almost.

If you're a German fan of From The Inside, LP said "Fuck you specifically!" Of every song that has been played on the Euro leg of the tour, From The Inside was not played once in Germany.
