Linkin Park kicked played their first U.S. show of 2025 earlier this year on April 26, at the Moody Center in Austin, TX. For those keeping tabs, it proved to be quite the memorable set with a number of surprising live debuts. Now, the band has shared an official video of "Casualty" from that show, the first upload of a North American performance from this year: Among other things, this live video features a shot of the celebrated Linkin Shark, who made a memorable appearance in the mosh pit during the Austin show and instantly won the hearts of Linkin Park fans around the world. "Casualty" is, of course, taken off Linkin Park's 2024 studio effort From Zero, and has proven to be a highlight of the band's live shows, starting with the unforgettable debut performance in Dallas, TX last year. Not only was that a live debut, but it even preceded the song's official release and served as a world premiere. Meanwhile, Linkin Park is about to kick off a European tour leg, which comes after a recent performance for the UEFA Champions League Final Kick Off Show event in Munich, Germany. Finally a proshot of this monster, hell yeah! And with that, Linkin Shark is now part of LP HD FZ collection.
This video is fantastic - this performance, the mix, shots, edits, all stellar. Love seeing Emily addressing the crowd during the breakdown, and that shot of Colin getting hyped during the build into the bridge
Can’t say I agree there, the mix sounds very *not* live. It sounds like a studio recording trying to sound “live.” It’s very strangely artificial to my ears.
