It has been announced that 3 Linkin Park songs are due to be added into Epic Games' battle royale phenomenon Fortnite, allowing players to use them for various things in the game: "Faint", "The Emptiness Machine" and upcoming single "Up From the Bottom" will serve as new music cosmetic items come March 27, the same day the latter song gets is release. In addition to the songs, there will be more Linkin Park content in Fortnite: the purchasable "Up From the Bottom" bundle will also include LP-themed instruments, including a guitar (that can be equipped as a pickaxe as well as being used for Jam Tracks), an "In the End" music emote, and a loading screen featuring the From Zero cover art. Linkin Park isn't new to collaborating with Epic Games in this manner, as iconic smash hits "Numb" and "In the End" were added into Fortnite over the course of 2024. Like those songs, "Faint", "The Emptiness Machine" and "Up From the Bottom" will be available as Jam Tracks that can be purchased in-game using the the virtual currency V-Bucks. This will allow players to "jam" with elements of the songs in the Fortnite Battle Royale mode, use them as background music in the game's lobby, as well as play the songs in the rhythm game mode Fortnite Festival. Fortnite has partnered with many major names in music over the past few years, particularly with its music-focused Fortnite Festival mode launching at the end of 2023. Prior to that, artist avatars have made appearances in the game and been available as in-game cosmetics for players to use. Source: Linkin Park on Instagram
If "only" UFTB is going to fortnite... what else is going to be on this "Deluxe Edition" or whatever it is? Or... well, I gues is only UFTB and the Fortnite collab in the end...No Breathing Underwater, no Vertigo
Dunno if it's worth updating since this is more for Fortnite than LP but the official cosmetics are now listed including a LP/UFTB-skinned drumkit and guitar, an emote, and loading screen
