I thought i would make this topic to see what people in the LPA enjoyed listening to 80s Music

I personally love listening 80s music and thats what i was brought up listening to (as my dad always still listens to it)

Also, as i have continuously read that one of LP's biggest influencies were one of the biggest bands of the 80s Depeche Mode,

I reccomend that you check out these bands if you want to.

    Then Jericho
    New Order
    Duran Duran
    Depeche Mode
    Level 42
Tears For Fears (who were the ones who originally sung the recent hit Mad World)

To tell the truth, I really don't listen to 80's music. I'm not into old metal stuff. I donno, I just don't like it.

I accidentally ordered a Duran Duran CD from one of those BMG "10 CDs for 10 cent" things. It's pretty good, the more you listen to them the more it grows on ya.

    Metallica
    Guns N' Roses
    Pink Floyd
    Rush
    Iron Maiden
    etc.

Those type of bands, but I'm not to big on some of the stuff in the 80s. To me the 70s were a lot better.

I love 80s music. The Police, Duran Duran, Depeche Mode, Heaven 17, Level 42, Journey, Foreigner, Hall & Oates, Tears for Fears, Huey Lewis and the News, Billy Joel...*sigh* I'll stop. But it's good stuff.
