There we go! Took long enough Still out on Atlanta, Washington (DC), anywhere in Florida, for US locations. I would think those would be included. Probably Las Vegas too.
You heard it here on LPA first folks. Linkin Park will not be playing Florida for the foreseeable future due to an ongoing political controversy with Bugs Bunny, of Looney Tunes fame. News post to come!
Them doing a lot of these big stadiums is crazy. The demand for their return was THAT high. I think the reception has also been just as crazy which is why we are seeing such big venues being booked. I never thought we'd see them become a stadium band.
Think what also helps is that in 7 years, they've gained a whole new generation of fans. There is a whole new batch of younger people who have discovered albums like HT/Meteora/MTM only recently, and just as it resonated with us 10/15 years ago, it's still resonating with them today.
Are we thinking it's just an announcement tomorrow morning or do I need to be awake and ready at 7am to secure tickets?
Pretty sure there has been nothing for florida cuz of welcome to Rockville. There where also no teases for georgia/alabama/Louisiana
If it's tickets then these West Coasters are done for. And me. I'm getting up regardless, but there's still no way I'll be functional enough at 6 am to deal with the stinking dungpile of Ticketmaster. I guess the glaring omissions here are venues that just didn't participate in the teasers or something? There's no way we won't see Atlanta, for example, among the dates that will (almost certainly) be announced tomorrow. Ah that's a good thought. Radius clauses are the reason why so many artists have to skip on Tennessee thanks to Bonnaroo. It's possible if they're part of Rockville, but Florida is also pretty big. We'll see tomorrow. Alabama and Louisiana haven't been played in decades by LP unfortunately (Louisiana native speaking). Since 2000 I'm pretty sure. I don't think that would be in the cards for them. Both those states aren't great markets for them.
Just an announcement. Ticket on sales will likely be next week. Don’t think they do anything Friday with the my chemical romance tour going on sale at 10am local times
Any NYers in here? Not to sound petty or ungrateful but I have to say it again: I HATE Barclays center. I wish they were going to be at MSG, UBS or Jones beach, would be 10x more enjoyable of a show.
