### UPDATE ### It has been confirmed by Linkin Park on Twitter that they will indeed be performing at the ceremony. ### ORIGINAL POST ### It has just been announced by the official League of Legends twitter account that Linkin Park will be part of the "League of Legends: Worlds 2024" opening ceremony along with Ashnikko, Forts, and Tiffany Aris. While there is no confirmation of a performance from the band, it would be unlikely that there would not be one, considering the fact that "Heavy Is the Crown" is the official anthem for the tournament this year. The event takes place on November 2nd in London at the O2 arena, which Linkin Park just recently played at as part of their From Zero World Tour on September 24. Will you be watching the opening ceremony? Will Linkin Park perform? How many songs? Come and discuss in our forums. Source: League of Legends on Twitter
They will probably only play HITC, which is cool enough. A take away is that the band has to be in London for that, and it happens there is a certain listening party today in London ....
